Knuckly terms of use

Provider: Kronyx Labs, an independent app developer in the Netherlands, support@knuckly.app. By using Knuckly you agree to these terms.

1. What Knuckly is

A training log and general information app for combat-sports training: logging, plans, a round timer, calorie and weight estimates, a food log, lessons and technique guides. It is not a medical device and gives no medical, dietary, or professional coaching advice. It does not replace a doctor, a registered dietitian or a qualified coach.

2. Age

You must be 16 or older. Make-weight plans (reaching a weight-class limit by a weigh-in) are only for adults (18+).

3. Training risk

Combat sports and intense training can cause injury, including serious head injury. You train at your own risk. Warm up, wear protective equipment, spar only under qualified supervision, follow your gym's rules, and stop and get medical help if you are hurt, dizzy, or unwell. Check with a doctor before starting if you have a health condition.

4. Technique guides and lessons

Technique guides describe general steps from published coaching sources; lessons summarise published research in our own words, with sources. Technique guides are written steps without illustrations. Learn and check technique with a qualified coach. Information can be incomplete or out of date.

5. Weight and nutrition

Calorie, food and weight figures are estimates with a range of error. Plans change weight gradually; Knuckly never provides dehydration, water-cut or other rapid weight-loss protocols. Do not use them. Talk to a doctor or dietitian before large changes to diet or weight.

6. Your data

Stored on your device only (see the privacy policy). You are responsible for your device and any backup files you create and share.

7. AI-generated content

Photos and the coach voice ("Knox") are generated with AI tools and depict no real person.

8. Third-party data

Food data from USDA FoodData Central (public domain), Ciqual/ANSES (Licence Ouverte 2.0) and Open Food Facts (ODbL). They can contain errors.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the provider is not liable for injury, illness, or loss resulting from use of the app or reliance on its information. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example, for death or personal injury caused by negligence) or your statutory consumer rights.

10. Changes and law

We may update these terms; the app will ask you to agree again. These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country. Questions or complaints: support@knuckly.app.
